Abstract

The article proposes, discusses, and advocates the emergency of a dialogical approach to syntax, to be considered in practices of linguistic analysis from a dialogical perspective. It revisits and systematizes the theoretical and methodological principles found in several texts of Bakhtin's Circle, which have already been partially reverberated in works of Brazilian Applied Linguistics, from those that defend the contextualized teaching of grammar to those linked to the proposal of linguistic analysis. The results point out that the dialogical approach to syntax is enunciative by nature, focusing on the dialogical and logical relations that constitute the meaning of the enunciates and to which are inherent the comprehension of: a) the valued forms of introduction of another's discourse into the author's discourse; b) the axiologies concretized in the linguistic materiality; c) the effects of meaning or valorative stresses that consubstantiate the expressiveness of the enunciate.
