Temporal and spatial distribution in an anuran community in municipality of Morrinhos, Goiás, Brazil (Amphibia: Anura)
Abstract
In this study, spatial and temporal occurrence of anuran species in the Fazenda Paraíso (17º87’27"S, 49º23’51"W), Municipality of Morrinhos, Goiás, Brazil were studied. Sites were visited monthly during three nights, from October 2004 to September 2005. Observations occurred mainly from 18:00 hours until approximately 01:00 hour. Twenty six species were found belonging to the following families: Bufonidae (02), Hylidae (11), Leptodactylidae (11) and Microhylidae (02). Of these, 25 were found in calling activity.
