How can we think about educating citizen reporters which recognize themselves as social subjects and, over all, recognize the “other” or the “others ones” that are around us with a detailed view of the quotidian and its specifics about the reflection of “our own”? A first answer to this question begins, as a hypothesis, when we distance ourselves from the industrial routine of journalism production and focus on the reporters’ education, who will be the journalists of the future, that are still in college. In this case, this paper intends to present the experience of the Amazon Digital Communication Center of the Federal Universty of Rondônia program, which articulates the journalism with the oral history methodology as a strategy to educate citizen reporters.
Key words: coral history, journalism, citizen reporters.Downloads
