This article aims to identify and describe influences and trends that contribute to the understanding and contextualization of the Life Project and its meanings in the contemporary school curriculum. This study results from qualitative research regarding the Life Project (REIS, 2024) established as a curricular component in the processes of implementing the Brazilian High School reform following Law 13,415/2017. Regarding methodological aspects, this is a qualitative study that used documentary and bibliographic analysis. It is observed that, according to Silva's (2019) approach, curricular customization devices are put into action in the school curriculum through various strategies. Among these strategies, we highlight the curricular component Life Project, which, as we can infer, is a curricular customization device whose main function is the subjective standardization for the creation of a neoliberal subject.
