The importance of the orality in Plato

Abstract

This brief work has as objective detaches the importance of the theme of the language in Plato. For such desideratum, it was looked for to oppose the oral language with the written language, for, in that way, to arrive to a conciliatory synthesis among both. The methodology adopted for this end was to collect interpretations done by considered specialists, among the ones which: Giovanni Reale, Franco Trabattoni and Jayme Paviani, in order to understand true Plato of the great synthesis. Now, it is observed that the theme of the language in Plato, is constituted in a current theme, in a mission philosophical of vital importance, because, corroborating with Reale, there is an urgent need of an innovative vision on the platonic philosophy. Such vision highlights, above all, the importance of the Doctrines no - written and, consequently, the importance of the orality.
