The purpose of this paper is to show, based on an interpretation of Section 7 of Being and Time, how the preliminary concept of phenomenology (der Vorbegriff), for Heidegger, refers to the methodological search for the conditions of possibility of the manifestation of beings in their being. I also intend to show in what sense there is the methodological requirement to interrogate Dasein about its being, which is the starting point of the investigation. Inspired by transcendental readings of Heidegger's fundamental ontology, my exposition follows the constitutive moments of Being and Time, § 7 in order to carry out a systematic interpretation of the relations between the Section and the project proposed by Heidegger in Being and Time.
