The divine order, the required holocaust, the entangled suffering, the loneliness, the angst and the despair that involved Abraham and, finally, the recognition of God and the eternal reward condense in just one case some of the main concepts analyzed by Kierkegaard. In the Abraham's accomplishment, the singular as singular is in an absolute relationship with the absolute. The guiding threads that run through the weave of the text are: the individual and the paradox. They are the culmination of the ascending sense, maximum expressions of subjectivity and maximum of religiosity, respectively. Hence, the question emerges: what is the paradox and what is its relationship with the selv? The text seeks to preserve elements that represent distinct categories of Kierkegaardian philosophy by seeking to guide the conceptions obtained in our analyzes by the notions of subjectivity and religiosity. This cleavage, subjectivity and privacy, will ensure the individual as a philosophical effort.
