Sobre a liberdade em Arendt: comentários introdutórios

A proposta geral deste artigo é analisar e discutir a ideia da liberdade como aparece na obra de Arendt. Especificamente pretende-se demonstrar com este estudo que Arendt não é apenas uma grande defensora da liberdade, mas também que, para ela, nem a política e nem o indivíduo têm qualquer sentido na ausência dessa liberdade que deve se manifestar em um espaço público através da ação e do discurso na presença dos pares; pretende-se também defender que, para Arendt, não existe nenhum bem maior do que a liberdade que, como entendida por ela, nada tem a ver, por exemplo, com a “interioridade” ou com o “livre-arbítrio”.
