Abstract

In this paper, we analyze, by means of analysis of the modal markers, how the discursive ethos is formed in the scenographyestablished in a computer-mediated communicative situation in teaching and learning. We believe that the ethos of speakers built into the Internet, in a educational digital genre forum can avail themselves of interactional strategies, that assist in establishing a greater degree of collaboration, with the intention of conveying law knowledge. In our study, we analyzed the modal interventions in 254 writing produced by students and 39 writings produced by teachers in the discussion forums of the Organized Crime Course, offered in the distance learning modality, over the Internet, by the Public Prosecution College. We note that, in the interaction constructed in these forums, a sequence of communication is established, woven by the relationship created between the subjectof the interventions, their communicative intentions and the contextual factors that make up the expository scene. The discursive ethos acts, also, as a interactional negotiation category established by language, in order to conform the expectations of enunciator1, which conditions and directs the speech of the enunciator2, whose stereotypes correspond to the teacher and student, respectively.

Key words: discourse analysis, discursive ethos, distance learning, digital educational forum genre.
