We search, beyond identifying the predominant positions of decoding, to chart the mobilized representations by farmers from the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST), at the reading moment, when the news are analyzed and showed by Zero Hora newspaper (ZH) that enroll the agrarian questions and/or the actions from MST itself. That examination is based on facts, reported by ZH, occurred form de the period from 04/12/2008 to 05/21/2008 near from the occupation and liberation of Southall Farm in São Gabriel, RS, Brazil. Due to that, we promoted fi rst the representation concept delimitation, relating it to journalism and to the news and afterwards united to Zero Hora newspaper and MST characterization, we will present the considerations due to the decoding positions and to the representations that Zero Hora newspaper spreads about agrarian question in the Landless version.Downloads
