Call For Papers
The journal Questões Transversais – Epistemologies of Communication announces that, as of March 2026, it is no longer published by the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos), due to the closure of the institution’s Graduate Program in Communication. This transition marks a new phase in the journal’s trajectory, while maintaining its commitment to high-quality scientific production in the field of Communication.
The journal is now affiliated with the Research Network on Mediatization and Social Processes, under the editorial management of Midiaticom (https://midiaticom.org/). This new institutional framework brings together more than fifty researchers from institutions in Brazil, Argentina, France, Sweden, and Russia. The Editorial Board includes scholars from leading graduate programs such as UFSM, UFBA, UFF, USP, PUC-RS, PUC-SP, UFRGS, UFG, UnB, and UFS, as well as international institutions including UBA and UNR (Argentina), Södertörn University (Sweden), and Université Grenoble Alpes (France).
The new official website of the journal is: https://qt.midiaticom.org/questoes/index. All issues published until 2025 remain available both on the previous platform and on the new website. However, from 2026 onward, all new issues will be published exclusively on the new platform, and all submissions must be made through this system.
We kindly invite authors, reviewers, and readers to create a new account on the journal’s platform in order to continue participating in its editorial processes. Registration is essential for submissions, peer review activities, and access to publications.
We also inform that the journal is currently accepting submissions for the thematic dossier “Media and feminicide: pathologies, intersections and mediatization”, available at: https://qt.midiaticom.org/questoes/callforpapers. We encourage the academic community to submit contributions.
