Abstract

This paper attempts to contribute to the construction of interpretative frameworks that allow understanding the familiar agriculture’s commercialization process, such as the markets and fairs of social economy. The reductionism of economic theory to explain these processes in their complexity and social multidimensionality makes it necessary to include in the analysis evolved perspectives. Regarding this subject, the article proposes three dimensions to analyse the problem: a) the social individual that promotes these experiences; b) the characteristics and complexity of the economical process and the exchange relationships involved c) the political project and struggling processes that express these experiences. Through a temporal perspective, the article proposes to introduce two points of view as well: the historical, that allows observing the phenomenon related to previous processes, and the prospective, that leads to consider possible implications.
