Consideraciones en torno a las propuestas de constitución y desarrollo de otra economía en América Latina

Abstract

In this one work I examine, in general terms, the development process of modern/capitalist economy in Latin America and the proposals to constitute an Other economy, making emphasis in its charachteristics, basements and meanings. I warn specially on the destructive logic of modern/capitalist economy, as well as the coercive and dominant charachter of the modernity/colonial paradigm, in which it is based. On these grounds I am also making a critic to modern/capitalist economy and to modernity/colonial system, identifing the need, not only of valuing and encouraging proposals of creating and developing an Other economy in Latin America, but also to think and develop economies with vital and uncolonial meanings.
