Abstract

Este trabalho procura apresentar os motivos pelos quais a reflexão de Karl Polanyi está sendo cada vez mais recuperada. Entendemos que este autor constitui um suporte fundamental para enfrentar e superar (sem resvalar para o irracionalismo) o corrosivo economicismo da vida moderna, bem como é uma fonte extremamente fecunda para inspirar a reconstrução da racionalidade econômica numa nova perspectiva epistemológica.
