Abstract

The present study consists of an analysis of the discursive strategies around the hashtag #PrimeiroAssedio, which was consolidated as a campaign for debate on harassment on social networks by the feminist blog Think Olga. The goal is to understand through which of these strategies the campaign spread on the internet and became an act of discursive activism. For this, 213 tweets were collected in 2015, made up to one month after the launch of the campaign and analyzed according to its content. The analysis revealed that encouraging self-reporting and the hashtag format were the main strategies of the campaign, as well as a starting point for other debates and interactions, which helped to consolidate the debate as digital activism, despite its spontaneous development in an environment of disputing repertoires.

Keywords: Connective action. Digital activism. Feminist hashtag.
