Abstract
Considering the environment of mediatization and the emergence of a culture of memory, strongly influenced by the activity of the Cultural Industry, where the media are instituted as memory devices, this article outlines a problem-object of investigation in an attempt to examine the transformations that occur in the collective/individual formation of ethnic memory in this context. More specifically, it delineates the questions and objectives that constitute our field of investigation and presents some theoretical considerations that have the potential to provide a comprehensive basis for these issues.
