The audiovisual costume production in Brazilian movies and fashion productions: an approximation to “brazility configurations”
Abstract
“Audiovisual costumes culture” is the main proposition suggested by this article. It aims at analyzing the costumes in Brazilian audiovisual productions whose focus is constructed on nominate “brazility’s configurations”. Historical aspects present in the movie Caramuru – a invenção do Brasil, in the event Phytoervas Fashion and also in the productions of stylists like Marcelo Sommer, Ronaldo Fraga, Fause Haten, Jum Nakao offer insights about the identity of Brazilian studies. Materialities Theory, developed by Gumbrecht, and Foucault’s thoughts are major theoretical supports in the present article.
