This article reflects on a long term process of expression of our historical consciousness through technology, as an interpretative parameter to a presumed evolution. This hypothesis arises from the observation of press coverage of four technological events, since the nineteenth century until the second half of the twentieth century, taking into account differences between the events’ construction in different times, but having in common the encoding of the technique. These events also served to reconfigure the parameters of significance of space, with new possibilities of symbolic appropriation of the city, the sky and even the moon.
Key words: event, time, space.Downloads
