The absolute dialectics of sin and the becoming of freedom

Resumen

The article discusses the notion of “self” developed by Kierkegaard and shows that it implies the presence of an otherness that is actively understood as difference, non-being, nothingness. That otherness, in its turn, is able to dialecticize existence and push it, through the force of contradiction, to become its identical constituent. In Kierkegaard’s view that radical otherness is sin. The awareness of sin reveals to human beings, in their essential duality, the difference that separates them from the divine being.
