Abstract

The general assumption of this paper is that the critical Kant must be understood as a philosopher that uses some aspects of formal logic (formal laws of understanding and reason) and mathematics (method), along with a semantic interpretation of the concepts and judgments of reason in general, to solve problems of speculative, practical and aesthetic nature. The main subject and/or application of this interpretation is the theory of synthetic a priori judgments of private law in Metaphysische Anfangsgründe der Rechtslehre. The purpose of this article is to reconstruct this theory by identifying and organizing the actual steps of Kantian research according to the combined method and transcendental semantics.

Key words: private law, intelligible ownership, methods of analysis and synthesis, theory of meaning and concept reference.
