This article intends to show that the publication of Michel Foucault’s courses, Sécurité, territoire, population and Naissance de la biopolitique, given at Collège de France, shows not only a change of his analytics of power, but also the problematization of a new background for the continuation of his thinking. This background is the concept of governmentality. This neologism allows Foucault to analyze domains such as Arts of government, Liberalism and Neo-liberalism.
Key words: governmentality, analytics of power, politics, liberalism, neoliberalism.Downloads
