Abstract

Como água para chocolate é um romance que desvenda o comportamento de uma família formada por mulheres, suas tradições e a relação de afetividade mantida entre elas. Nosso alvo neste trabalho é focalizar a transmutação da linguagem romanesca para a linguagem cinematográfica e descobrir como o cinema com todos os seus recursos pode dialogar e recriar o espírito do texto de partida, sem desviar-se da sua finalidade, de seu sentido original. E assim, conseguir manifestar o amor gustativo vivido por Tita, a heroína da história, e Pedro.
