Abstract

This article discusses, from an interdisciplinary perspective, the relationship between society, culture, and education to understand Artificial Intelligence (AI), identifying how technological advancements—especially cyberspace—affect culture and social life. It analyzes the context of cyberculture and social interactions as a foundation for understanding AI. The discussion addresses Intellectual Technologies, Technodiversity, and AI from a critical-reflective perspective, aiming to explore the challenges and potentialities related to culture and education. The article advocates for a broad and critical-reflective conception of this phenomenon and its impact on human relationships, including the definition of intelligence and the human relationship with machines. It concludes that a conceptual and critical reflection on the topic is necessary to break with the utilitarian logic of AI use in education. New reflections are proposed to contribute to the advancement of the debate in the field of teacher education.
