Itinerant Specialized Educational Service (AEE) has gained prominence as a school inclusion strategy for students with disabilities. This study aims to: understand how the pedagogical practices related to the mediations attributed to the Inclusion Support and Monitoring Teachers (PAAI), who work in the Itinerant SEA in their training actions, are being operationalized; to describe and analyze how this model is organized and implemented in the Municipal Network of São Paulo, based on the analysis of the perceptions of the PAAIs. Based on interviews and focus groups with 37 PAAIs from the 13 Regional Education Directorates (DREs) of the municipal network of São Paulo. The research seeks to collaborate with the discussion of the challenges and potentialities of this approach in the school context. The results indicate the need for greater integration between the PAAIs and the teachers of the common education through training, in addition to the expansion of the number of specialized professionals.
