Entre o mostrar e o imaginar: reflexões sobre o Tractatus e a natureza dos juízos morais

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar as interpretações de Hacker e Diamond sobre a natureza das sentenças do Tractatus de Wittgenstein e aplicar tais interpretações a uma análise dos juízos morais, mostrando as falhas e contribuições das interpretações mencionadas acima. Para cumprir esta tarefa, num primeiro momento, reconstituímos o debate entre Hacker e Diamond, mostrando seus principais argumentos e tomando posição neste debate. A seguir, analisamos a natureza dos juízos morais, argumentando que Wittgenstein defende um mostrar das sentenças éticas que não precisa de uma atividade imaginativa como sugere Diamond.
