A ordem do expor em géneros acadêmicos do português europeu contemporâneo
Abstract
This paper aims at analyzing the expositive order in two academic genres of contemporary European Portuguese – the didactic article and the scientific article. Besides the evidence that theoretical discourse is predominant, in both cases, we will be looking for the conditions of appearance of interactive discourse, assuming, as a working hypothesis, that it is regulated by the textual genre - more specifically, by the text plan. The analysis provides evidence for differentiating the two genres: in both cases, interactive discourse appears associated to the researcher (who is formulating hypotheses, arguing for points of view and organizing the space of the text); however, these segments tend to occur, in the scientific texts analysed, in relevant moments of the plan, as in the opening and the conclusion of macrostructural units.
