The unity of linguistics
Abstract
This article studies the problem of unity in the field of linguistics, constantly divided between researches who demand the language and those who demand the discourse. We try to show that this opposition is not changeable, that linguistics is submitted to two types of research with different natures: the approach A, which takes into consideration a grammatical plan, and the approach A´´, which takes a hipergrammatical plan into consideration.
Key words: linguistics, language, discourse.Downloads
