This qualitative-interpretative and bibliographic study, aims to investigate the articulation between syllabus, course plan, and lesson plans of a proposal for teaching Brazilian literature to foreign students, organized collaboratively by specialist professors and teachers in training who work in the area of Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PLE) in four Higher Education Institutions. The aim is to answer to what extent the documents prepared for the development of the discipline interact with each other. The results of the analysis indicate that there is a partial relationship between the analyzed objects, as there is an inconsistency between the objectives contained in the discipline's syllabus and the reading activities of the teaching materials. This indicates that adjustments need to be made to the course plan, lesson plans, and teaching materials. After due refinement, it is understood that the documents prepared for the development of the subject in focus can contribute even more to the improvement of students' linguistic proficiency. Furthermore, the research carried out can, in general, serve as a basis for carrying out other studies focused on the analysis of teaching documents, promoting new experiences and in-depth studies in the area.
