There is a growing debate around the expansion of work via digital platforms in Brazil and around the world, one of which is delivery work. Aiming to understand the impacts of uberization on the labor relationships of motoboys and app bikeboys, a qualitative research was carried out involving interviews with 24 workers. The results showed how different labor relations are in relation to the regulated, traditional work, showing that uberization brought important ruptures. This new work model has attracted young people with low education motivated by the opportunity to generate income, in parallel with the apparent flexibility of hours and the possibility of carrying out other activities simultaneously. On the other hand, characteristics of an informal job without any protection and legal rights were observed, evidencing a precariousness of work, corroborating the literature. This precariousness ranges from occupational health, passing through non-existent labor rights, to the remuneration of these workers, thus evidencing the need to strengthen the union representativeness of this class, until then not very active, as the research data also revealed.
