Abstract

The article intends to contribute to a wider understanding about the unity of Earth present in the international politics’ scope with the creation of a law with validity pretensions beyond the nation State, establishing transnational ethical references. Singer (1994) discusses in One World the awareness of this unity of Earth, highlighting some lines of a global ethic, leading to the construction of one law. One mark of the global ethic is the international protection of the human person, considering that such protection transcends the State interest to become an international community concern. A normativist view, however, does not elicit enough indication to problematize the progressive integration surpassing the national State, as a mundialization flow.

Key words: mundialization, law, global ethics, international protection of the human person.
