The theory of ricardian land income: an unifying landmark enters the economies of the pollution and the natural resources

Abstract

The main aim of this paper is to analyze the unifying character that the theory incomeland of Ricardo with the economy of the environment. The methodology is the type qualitativedescriptionand encloses the history of the economic thought, as well as the theoretical approachof the economy of the environment. It was demonstrated that Ricardo was the first economist ofthe pollution and the economy of the natural resources. One also added, the clarifying characterof the theoretical conception of the income of land for the ambient problems, as well as itsproposal of solution, that is, the use of a price to correct the ambient degradations. In thisdirection, it can be affirmed that this boarding becomes excellent for the construction of publicpolitics directed toward the environment.
