Between the crystal and the flow: historiographical sources and time-space articulations

This “note” has as its background a post-doctoral research where some questions about History and its inquiry resources are brought forward. Some of these questions are deeply related to the fact that this discipline disregarded a critical approach to its own job. From this came out a kind of stiffening of the historian’s craft not allowing any kind of dialogue with other knowledge areas and the formation of new concepts of time. The present reflection comes up with the possibility of a historiographic source reading supported by the time and space interaction. Such possibility is a challenge to historiography to deal with the source as being an ongoing flow, in other words, as a narrative.
