Abstract

La frontera y sus habitantes suelen estar ausentes en los análisis de la relación argentino-chilena. Sin embargo, ésta no puede ser entendida, a cabalidad, con una mirada que considera únicamente el accionar de los Estados y que no incorpora las dinámicas generadas por los gobiernos no centrales, especialmente los ubicados en las zonas de frontera. Este artículo es una propuesta innovadora para la incorporación de la frontera en los análisis de la relación bilateral, así como en el relato historiográfico de ésta.
