Arariplebatta Mendes is here reviewed taking into account its previous diagnosis in Portuguese, the proposal of a new species, A. cesi, and an emended diagnosis of Blattulopsis beckeri Mendes. Those Blattoptera came from the same laminated limestones from the basal part of Santana Formation, Ceará State, Northeast Brazil, Late Aptian in age, where the original samples were collected.
