Abstract

Oficina de gênero realizada com 30 crianças de oito anos de idade, estudantes de uma escola pública municipal de Vitória – ES, e que teve como propósito celebrar o Dia Internacional da Mulher, em 8 de março. Toda a produção estética dessa oficina girou em torno da música “Maria, Maria”, de autoria de Milton Nascimento e Fernando Brant (1978) e constou de canto coral e elaboração de pictografias femininas (desenho com massa de modelar), a partir da questão norteadora: “Quem é essa mulher, de quem tanto fala a música?” Maria foi representada pelas crianças principalmente como figura parenta, trabalhadora ou ente religioso.
