Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é sintetizar uma pesquisa realizada em 2014 sobre a reinterpretação do conto Rapunzel e o filme Enrolados, analisando, especificamente, os elementos históricos e simbólicos presentes em ambas as versões, levando em consideração o modelo de análise proposto por Propp (1983, 1997). O objetivo final do estudo foi realizar uma apreciação dos estudos de Propp, com a finalidade de fundamentar a análise realizada que comprova que elementos históricos e simbólicos advindos de ritos pré-históricos e de civilizações antigas se mantêm tanto no conto Rapunzel, transcrito pelos Irmãos Grimm, quanto na produção cinematográfica Enrolados, produzida pelos Estúdios Walt Disney.
