Abstract

O presente artigo situa suas reflexões com base nos pressupostos teóricos da Análise do Discurso de linha francesa fundada por Michel Pêcheux.  O objetivo deste estudo é refletir sobre as características do discurso jornalístico sobre política e sua contribuição para o estudo da interpretação. Como procedimentos metodológicos, utilizamos a pesquisa bibliográfica e a análise comparativa de sequências discursivas sobre política extraídas de três impressos de circulação no Rio Grande do Sul. Os resultados das análises apontam para o tratamento interpretativo às informações antes de sua publicação pelos periódicos.
