Archigram em Monte Carlo: arquiteturas subterrâneas, paisagens tecnológicas
Abstract
This paper is about Archigram’s entry for Monte Carlo competition, Monaco, 1970, awarded 1st prize. It expects to demonstrate how Archigram’s design for an entertainment building in Monte Carlo, a real situation, embodies previous ideas developed for purely fictional contexts, and is able to review the megaestructural strategies from the beginning of the decade, offering other interpretations for the relationship between technology and architecture. It also intends to examine the project’s multiple connections to general sixties theories.
Key words: Archigram Group, Monte Carlo, technology, primitivism.Downloads
