This paper shows the recidivism of the Spanish Sistema Diédrico in methodological difficulties that were overtaken by the Anglo-Saxon stream of Direct Method. It is described how the Direct Method starts transgressing the analytical orthodoxy of classical Descriptive Geometry to favor the visual synthesis in acquisition of concepts about three-dimensional space. The validity of subject is given by the continuity in the training Spanish institution of the doctrine of this ancient academic discipline and the associated theoretical-practical imbalance in front of the European Higher Education paradigm.
Key words: visualization, cognition, orthographic draw, representation.Downloads
